Hi Jack,

Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner, im still working every day of theweek!!! - Im so tired I’ve been forced to hit the PRO PLUS!!! so in response toyour email my favourites were...

1. Global issue/ local solution
2. Sandals
3. Postage stamps (I reckon this will be the most popular brief for graphicdesigners so there'll probably be loads of competition! maybe we should focus onone of the others instead?)

I also thought domestic green clean was an interesting brief but it sounds a bitproduct designy! You had 'including you' as one of your choices. I hadn't thought about it but one of my best friends when I lived in Australia was a diabetic, perhaps wecould consider this one because we both have some knowledge of diabetes?

Defo think we should focus on a couple first to investigate the possibilities, for the moment, time is on our side but I reckon we get our first skype convo out of the way ASAP. When are you free? Im available 8.30 tomorrow if you're around?? If not let me know your best day and we can arrange a suitable time.

Speak to you soon buddy. Take it easy!Dan

Hey mate, hope you're good! Choosing a brief is a right mission isn't it so lets put on our thinking caps lol

There are a lot of good ones and like you said earlier whatever one we focus on we're going to need to research to make some of them seem less overwhelming and to really see their potential but we've got 'till the end of November so we have time.

The briefs that stand out for me are "Global Issue/Local Solution", because I had a few brainwaves after watching the RSA online video about it, 'Postage Stamps', because I have a stamp fetish. Joke! No, stamps have real good potential to be cool I reckon, and "Including You", as my aunty and mate's girlfriend are diabetics.

If you let me know what ones are your favourites then we can follow it up with a chat on skype to discuss thoughts and decide where to go from there, we could even focus on a couple at first before narrowing it down completely.

Look forward to hearing from you soon,
Jack

Hey Dan, sorry it's taken ages to reply, I've been a bit under the weather so have been trying to recover soon as but I'm getting back on form. Early mornings?! Haha I'm sure that’s a shock to the system, it's well good you're working for such a cool company. It sounds like you're having a great time.

I've had a read of all the briefs and looked at last year’s winners. Most of them seem really interesting. I've just hunted out the Face web cam and will be around most of today so if you're available for a skype convo anytime let me know and we'll from there matey.

Speak to you soon!

awesome mate.u been away to Spain yet? Im on placement now so the working life is well underway. Really enjoying it so far except for the early mornings! I’ve scan read all of the briefs & they all seem pretty interesting. Once we've had a good look we could go on skype & discuss the possibilities. On the website there’s also a link to view last years winners. that will give you an idea of the kind of entries that win. Im going to print off the briefs now and read them over lunch, speak to you later on today.

Cheers

Dan
