Yo matey,

Attatched is the fan leaflet design I've done on illustrator and Indesign. The idea is the blue and white pages will be alternative to each other though they're not all in order atm. I've got some more stuff to send in a bit if my internet stays well behaved! I'm sending it bit by bit so my computer don't start sweating lol

As I was saying on the phone the last style was a bit over the top and I feel we were trying to be too different in the look so I've simplifyed the style into something with a fun, friendly and down to earth personality.

Our target market research and own experience told us that students like to know the facts but nott feel like they’re being nagged at. Inspired by the innocence brand (which is extremely popular amongst students) the design ‘talks’ to the students in a friendly, non-nagging, but informative kind of way.

Without bombarding them with boring information in a dull way we realise that students are busy and have to be engaged to pay attention. The copywrite is clear, quirky and relevant and the design reinforces this friendly ‘we’re in this together’ feel.

The campaign has a personality unlike many faceless ‘worrying’ global warming campaigns that tell you you must do something, this campaign delievers the information in a calm understandable way and invites them to become part of the fun community project.

The pale blue colour scheme gives the campaign a fresh and youthful tone of voice an the font is fun bubbly and lively, suiting the desired tone of voice we want to speak to these students with.

I'll send the other stuff soon hopefully and let me know what do you think.

Cheers!

Jack
